Ran into an interesting problem this morning in that the cd on one of the systems was busted, but the dbas still wanted to mount the oracle cd. OK, we can export the pfs filesystem by:

1. On the cd server, edit /etc/pfs_exports - enter

/SD_CDROM

2. Run pfs_exportfs -a

3. On the client, ensure all the appropriate daemons are running (see the other HP PFS mounting entry)

4. Mount the cd by:

pfs_mount -o ro HOST:/Mount_Point /Local_mount_point
