Process to follow to create a cold backup of an oracle database in noarchivelog mode
Shutdown the database
Copy all database datafiles, control files, and online redo logs
Restart the database
Pretty straight forward. Obvious drawbacks are no online backups and no point in time backups - unless you consider when the backup was done as the point in time…
